Become a vital part of a Portland, OR hospital team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when required, and operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. You may perform additional imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, as needed.Minimum Requirements:Required: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) required.Required: Advanced certification in CT (mandated for OR state practice).Required: Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) certification from an approved vendor.Required: Experience operating CT scanners and performing CT imaging procedures.Preferred: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program.Preferred: Venipuncture certification.Preferred: 2 years of CT technologist experience.Client-specific requirement: Ability to perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as part of departmental needs.Client-specific requirement: Availability for variable and per diem scheduling as needed by the facility.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Shift name: Flex Shifts.Shift type: Variable / Per Diem scheduling; 1x12 shift pattern noted by client.Assignment duration: 52 weeks.Weekly hours: As-needed/per diem scheduling.State requirements: Advanced CT certification required for practice in Oregon.Location HighlightsPortland offers a mix of urban culture and outdoor access within short drives.
