Job Description

Become a vital part of a hospital radiology team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist in Hendersonville, TN. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer IV contrast per protocol, and operate advanced CT scanners to produce diagnostic images for patient care.Minimum Requirements:ARRT RT (R) (CT) certification required.Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent credentialing.Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience preferred, including competency in ED/ER support imaging.Experience with GE Revolution 256-slice and GE VCT 64-slice CT scanners preferred.Familiarity with Meditech documentation and Synapse PACS preferred.Current BLS certification required.Ability to work cooperatively with a team of 2-3 techs on shift and follow hospital scanning protocols and IV contrast policies.Assignment Details:Facility type: Hospital.Unit: CT, Hospital Main Campus.Shift name: Days.Shift hours: Days 0700-2330 (as listed).Scheduling requirements: Monday-Friday 1500-2330 with a lunch break; additional coverage includes Friday 9:30 AM-4:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM-11:30 PM, Sunday 7:00 AM-11:30 PM as noted in unit schedule.Patient population: Supports ED volume; no interventional CT experience required.Staffing: 2-3 staff members typically on shift.Equipment/Systems: GE Revolution 256-slice CT, GE VCT 64-slice CT, Meditech, Synapse PACS.Floating: No floating required.Dress code: Navy uniform required.Location Highlights. The area supports a suburban lifestyle with nearby state parks and trails for hiking and cycling, including Long Hunter State Park roughly 20-30 minutes away.
