Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,471 - $7,190 Setting: Large academic hospital, Level 1 trauma center (anesthesia jobs, perioperative) Location: Hershey, Pennsylvania (17033) - Hershey, PA locum tenens opportunity Employment Type: Locum tenens / temporary CRNA assignment Start Date: April 27, 2026 End Date: January 19, 2027 Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts Hours Per Week: 36 Number of Openings: 3 locum CRNA openings Case Exclusions: No cardiac (hearts), obstetric (OB), or block cases Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of CRNA clinical experience required Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist credential with current board certification Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Pennsylvania CRNA licensure required (PA license) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced academic hospital setting References must be provided with application (please include contact information) Responsibilities Assess, prepare, and manage patients for anesthesia care during perioperative and procedural periods Develop and implement individualized anesthetic plans for general, spinal, and regional anesthesia Perform history and physical examinations, obtain informed consent, and conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and postoperative assessments Provide anesthesia care across specialties including orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics (ages 5+), endoscopy, robotic surgery, gynecology, ENT, and thoracic Perform invasive monitoring and line placement such as CVP/CVC and intra-arterial lines Manage airway and ventilatory support for complex cases Work under medical direction with CRNA-to-anesthesiologist ratios of 2:1 or 3:1 Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to ensure efficient, safe patient care Apply now: Submit your CRNA resume, current certifications, Pennsylvania license information, and references.
