Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Director to lead our dental team in beautiful Crescent City, California. This full-time leadership role offers an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality dental care to a rural, underserved community while enjoying a rewarding work-life balance and the stunning natural beauty of Northern California s coast and redwood forests.Our ideal candidate is a mission-driven general dentist who thrives in a collaborative environment, loves adventure and the great outdoors, and is passionate about serving patients who truly need quality care.Schedule:We currently operate on 12-hour rotating shifts for optimal flexibility and extended time off:Rotation 1: Sunday Tuesday, 8:00 AM 8:00 PMRotation 2: Wednesday Thursday, 8:00 AM 8:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM 2:00 PMEnjoy 7 days off every other week!Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality general dental care to patients across all age groups.Lead, mentor, and support the dental team to ensure exceptional patient care and positive outcomes.Collaborate with the clinic s medical and administrative leadership to align dental services with the organization s mission and goals.Oversee compliance with all applicable dental practice regulations, infection control standards, and clinical policies.Manage and optimize patient flow, scheduling, and productivity to meet organizational benchmarks.Foster a welcoming and compassionate patient experience that reflects the clinic s commitment to community-centered care.Qualifications:DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.Active California dental license (or eligibility for licensure).Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience preferred; prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.Commitment to serving rural and underserved populations with empathy and respect.Compensation & Benefits:Salary: $225,000 per yearBonus: $25 per billable patient encounterRelocation Assistance: $9,000Comprehensive Benefits Package, including:401(k) retirement planHealth, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offBonus opportunitiesSchedule flexibility: 7 days off every other weekAbout Us:Our rural healthcare clinic takes patient care to the next level combining top-quality clinical services with a welcoming, patient-first environment.
