Coverage Needed Start Date: June 2026 End Date: Ongoing Schedule: Friday-Tuesday, 7 PM - 8 AM (five 13-hour shifts) Specific Dates: June: 1, 2, 11, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 29, 30 (Day Shifts) July: 1, 6, 9, 11, 12, 16-22, 24, 27 (Day Shifts); 24-27 (Night Shifts) August: 13-17, 20-24 (Days or Nights TBD) Clinical Details Practice Setting: Inpatient Average Number of Patients Per Day: 13 (range 1-20) Documentation System/EMR: EPIC Procedures: Able to place CVLs, HD caths, and arterial lines Patient Age Demographic: Adult APP will be working autonomously Duties/Responsibilities: Vent management with assistance of RTs Monitoring of admitting critical care patients / availability to assist with decompensating patients overnight Admitting new critical care patients from the ED, hospital floor, and several surrounding hospitals Procedures such as central lines, arterial lines, and dialysis catheters Updating family/goals of care when patients decompensate overnight Requirements Board Certified NP Active Virginia license and DEA BLS/ACLS Certified Must be available to cover the specified dates Must be able to cover at least one stint per month Must be able to cover every month Critical care experience Clean background is required for Temp Privileges
