The driver safely transports children and families to various appointments from varied locations statewideMaintains open line of communication with transportation and office staff, including social worker or family support workerVerifies necessary transportation and move forms are completeAssures that children have all necessary belongings and medications at time of transportMust follow and adhere to state driving laws and regulationsTransports children/families safely from one destination to another locationAble to work varied days and hoursReports critical incidents to DCF verbally within 12 hours, written within 24 hoursImplements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), rules, personnel policies and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual termsIs knowledgeable of and follows all safety proceduresReports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channelsEnsures clients' rights are protectedHigh School diploma or equivalentCPR/First AidMust be 21 years of ageMust pass a drug screen, MVR, KBI, Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry Clearance check and an Adult Registry checkFBI Fingerprint checkLifting requirements of 50 lbs.Must have valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportationPrefer two years' experience working with children and families
