The Health Technician (Telehealth Clinical) serves in a generalist role to support and manage telehealth operations and is typically stationed at a clinical care delivery site (VA Medical Center, CBOC, VA Outreach Clinic, etc.), with duties that may require travel. Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional Major duties include but are not limited to: * supporting clinical telehealth encounters by serving as the telepresenter per scope of practice * functioning as an imager and data manager for telehealth store and forward applications * managing real time clinical telehealth events * preparing the clinical environment * providing patient education * providing technical and administrative support of telehealth operations * providing technical support to end-users * scheduling simple and complex intra-facility and inter-facility telehealth appointments * installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting technology * performing a variety of program support duties as assigned Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Tour of Duty and location may change due to patient care needs to include extended hours. Tour location may vary depending on patient care needs and staffing requirements. Government Vehicle or Travel reimbursement will be requested by employee when covering a clinic beyond 50 miles of your base location.
