Job Type Full-timeDescription MTSS Coordinator FULL TIME FY 2026-2027 Kennesaw, GA Northwest Classical Academy seeks a full-time MTSS Coordinator. The MTSS Coordinator oversees the school's Multi-Tiered System of Supports and reports to the Director of Student Services as a member of the Student Services team. This is an in-person position at Northwest Classical Academy's Kennesaw campus. This is a 10-month position that starts in July 2026.The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:Adhere to the school's mission and the principles of classical educationFacilitate the implementation of the MTSS process, which aims to ensure the early identification and intervention for students with academic needs. Use data to identify struggling students, monitor progress, and guide decision-making for interventions.Coordinate and deliver MTSS interventions and progress monitoringTrain and support teachers on MTSS procedures and interventions under the guidance of the Director of Student ServicesSchedule and facilitate MTSS meetings with parents, teachers, and other staff membersIntake Speech and OT referrals, complete initial eligibility for Special Education referral packets, and attend special education eligibility meetingsDemonstrate professional and ethical practices consistent with school policies in working with students, student records, parents, and colleaguesPerform other duties as assigned by an appropriate administratorModel good judgment, prudence, virtue, self-discipline, and responsibilityQualified candidates will meet the following requirements:A Bachelor's Degree in a related field from a fully accredited college is required.Valid teaching certification in Georgia is preferred but not required.Previous experience in classical education is preferred but not required.Candidates should possess excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong candidates will support the school's Mission: to develop students in mind and character through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes the principles of virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.
