By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, including new hire orientation and ongoing refreshers.Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions for accidents and near misses.Manage hazardous waste streams, including proper storage, labeling, disposal, and record-keeping.Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs such as Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Machine Guarding.Maintain accurate EHS records, prepare regulatory reports, and track key performance indicators.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.3-5 years of EHS experience, specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).Proven ability to conduct hazard assessments, implement EHS programs, and deliver training.Experience with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.Bonus QualificationsExperience with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Cority, Gensuite, Intelex).HAZWOPER 24 or 40-hour certification.Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or experience with continuous improvement methodologies.Experience conducting ergonomic risk assessments.Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001.Job Titles That Should ApplyEnvironmental Health & Safety Specialist, EHS Specialist, HSE Specialist, Safety Specialist, Health and Safety Specialist, EHS Coordinator, Safety Coordinator, Environmental Compliance Specialist, Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, Safety Officer, EHS Advisor, Workplace Safety Specialist, Industrial Safety Specialist, Health & Safety Officer, EHS ProfessionalWhy Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
