Manager Radiology Administration RADIOLOGY ADMINISTRATION (Billings Clinic Main Campus) req11668 Shift: Day Employment Status: Full-Time (.75 or greater) Hours per Pay Period: 1.00 = 80 hours every two weeks (Exempt) Starting Wage DOE Develops objectives, policies, and procedures for all Radiology department cost centers to formalize and implement the mission, vision, and values of Billings Clinic. Maintains the standards, customer relations, and practice in a designated service line. Accountabilities include: quality of services; short and long range planning to achieve goals and objectives; budget development and fiscal control; physician and interdepartmental/intradepartmental relations; personnel management. Operational oversight of all cost centers and services provided for out-patient elective, in-patient and emergency room patient care under Radiology (including but not limited to): Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Positron Emission Tomography, Diagnostic Radiology, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Interventional Radiology, DEXA, Radiology Scheduling, Radiology Pre-Authorization, Radiology Nursing, and Special Imaging Patient Transporting. Essential Job Functions * Develops and oversees all Radiology department cost centers to ensure adherence to organizational mission, vision, values, strategic goals, and business strategies. Interprets and supports the mission and philosophy of Billings Clinic. Responsible for promotion of, and adherence to, the elements of Billings Clinic's Code of Business Conduct and corporate compliance program. * In collaboration with physician leadership and other medical staff, administration, and other health care providers, develops and implements short and long range plans, and leads, develops and revises programs which enhance department services. * Leads department in the overall marketing, program development, and service priorities. Coordinates with physicians and other Billings Clinic leadership to assure continuity in pursing service line/organizational goals and synergy in implementing plans and problem resolution. * Develops, implements, and maintains a realistic, cost-effective annual budgets for each cost center considered part of Radiology for both hospital and clinic settings. * Practices process improvement principles to assess and improve the quality of the service/care provided within the multiple Radiology department's cost centers. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental, and outside agency safety standards relevant to job performance for each department and ensures compliance of all departments and staff. * Develops, retains, recruits, and leads a talented team committed to accomplishing the goals and objectives of Billings Clinic. Recommends, implements, and evaluates plans and systems that assure sufficient number of qualified and competent staff to provide care/services. Adheres to administrative policies and procedures relating to human resource management. * Demonstrates and encourages an ethic of open communication and teamwork throughout the organization. Builds an environment of shared commitment to Billings Clinic's goals and responsibility to achieve quality outcomes. Provides consultation for related concerns and acts as a customer advocate by demonstrating sensitivity to ethical and legal ramifications of practice. * Provide consultation expertise and guidance to other Billings Clinic system facilities and/or other departments that have imaging equipment and workflow within their department or facility. * Collaborate with other specialty services within the organization to grow service line offerings within the system. * Participates in evaluation, selection and integration of health care technology and information management systems that support quality of care/financial needs and the efficient use of resources. Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic's mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations. Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance. Performs all other duties as assigned or as needed to meet the needs of the department/organization. Minimum Qualifications Education * 4 Year / Bachelors Degree · relevant to service area preferred with 2-3 years of experience in service area Experience * 5 years previous experience as Radiology Manager preferred. Required minimum of 3-5 yrs experience in a Radiology Clinical Coordinator/Supervisor or Lead Technologist role Certifications and Licenses * ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB at hire Other Minimum Qualifications * Demonstrated management/leadership and program management skills related to the above tasks, knowledge, skills, and abilities * Current licensure/certification in the State of Montana and/or Wyoming as appropriate or required for service line * CPR certification as appropriate for department and/or service area * Current national licensure/certification in applicable area/modality within Radiology service lines * Current Montana/Wyoming drivers license and the ability to be insured to operate Billings Clinic vehicles * Or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered * Ability to be proficient in multiple software applications including but not limited to: Excel, Word, Kronos, PowerPoint, etc. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered Employees that require a licensed or certification must be properly licensed/certified and the licensure/certification must be in good standing.
