This position is in Livermore, CA 94550 Details for the position are as follows: Customer Accounts Specialist – Medical Billing Livermore, CA (100% Onsite) Pay: $25/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM PST Start: ASAP Overview The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Customer Accounts Specialist to support a high-volume Revenue Cycle Management team. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on medical billing and insurance experience who are comfortable handling patient inquiries and resolving billing issues in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This is a fully onsite position — no remote or hybrid options available. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound calls related to patient billing statements and account inquiries Follow up on outstanding patient balances and support collections efforts Review and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to resolve discrepancies Investigate and resolve unpaid or denied claims in a timely manner Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and account resolution Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all account activity Meet established quality, productivity, and service standards Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle, or healthcare customer service Strong understanding of insurance processes, claims, and EOB interpretation Experience handling patient account inquiries and billing-related calls Excellent communication and problem-solving skills High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications Experience with billing systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar EMR platforms Background in collections or accounts receivable follow-up Familiarity with healthcare compliance and billing regulations By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
