Join a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) 340B pharmacy as a Staff Pharmacist providing essential pharmaceutical services with a focus on community health. This Per Diem position offers a structured schedule Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with daily lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The role is scheduled for January 29th and 30th, with no holiday or weekend work required. Location: Anderson, IN Responsibilities: Prepare drugs and prescription orders for patient collection or delivery Oversee ordering of equipment and pharmaceutical supplies Control and monitor inventory levels and storage conditions for prescription drugs and controlled substances, ensuring compliance with best practices Verify prescription details with prescribing healthcare professionals as necessary Maintain approved drug lists and regularly check expiry dates Monitor pharmacy product displays and overall environment standards Address customer requests and manage complaints professionally Keep accurate records of inventory, patient information, and insurance claims Maintain the retail pharmacy area Provide telepharmacy support as needed Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to support pharmacy staff progress and address operational needs Ensure pharmacy operations comply with all state and federal regulations Qualifications & Desired Experience: Valid Indiana Pharmacist License (verified) Immunization License required Skills checklist, resume, and references required Spanish language proficiency is a plus Software Experience: Proficiency with Liberty RX pharmacy software preferred This is a contract position perfect for experienced pharmacists who thrive in community healthcare settings and want a focused work schedule without weekend or holiday shifts.
