Job Description

A Behavior Specialist with BCBA credentials is sought for a contract position serving schools in Levittown, PA, within Bucks County. This role focuses on providing specialized behavioral support during the Extended School Year (ESY) program, helping students with moderate to severe needs thrive in educational settings. The position requires a commitment from late June through late July, Monday through Thursday, with direct student interaction and related services provided in a center-based environment. Location: Primary site: Samuel Everitt School, Levittown, PA Other locations considered based on candidate proximity and student needs Candidates must reside within 35 minutes of the assigned school and have reliable transportation Key Responsibilities: Deliver behavior specialist services aligned with BCBA standards and Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requirements Support students with moderate to severe behavioral challenges through individualized behavioral interventions Collaborate with teachers and related services staff to enhance classroom environments Participate in orientation and setup activities prior to ESY instructional dates Maintain clear communication regarding attendance, punctuality, and any potential scheduling conflicts Qualifications and Experience: Active BCBA licensure meeting PDE criteria Experience working with populations exhibiting moderate to severe behavior needs Understanding of PA DOE credentialing processes and ability to complete them in approximately 14 days Ability to commit to the full ESY schedule from June 29 to July 30, 2026 Reliable transportation and willingness to work at locations based on student needs and site assignments Candidates with recent agency experience with this client (within the last year) are ineligible; a minimum one-year gap is required before reapplying through a different agency Additional Information: Work hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:45 AM to 2:45 PM Willingness to accommodate schedule variations for orientation and setup based on location and case load Classroom and assignment details will be provided by late May or early June If you hold BCBA licensure, reside near the Levittown area, and are fully available for the ESY period, consider applying for this rewarding opportunity to contribute to student success.
