Required Skills: Valid Nurse Practitioner license in AlaskaProven experience in general medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or related fieldsStrong clinical skills with the ability to perform comprehensive assessmentsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and adhere to clinical protocolsFamiliarity with electronic health records (EHR) systemsNice to Have Skills: Prior experience with veteran healthcare services or compensation & pension examsCertification in advanced patient care or specific specialties within general medicineBilingual abilities to serve diverse populationsExperience with telehealth platformsPreferred Education and Experience: Master s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or higherMinimum of 2 years clinical practice as a Nurse PractitionerPrevious experience conducting compensation and pension exams or healthcare assessments is advantageousOther Requirements: Ability to perform interview-based assessments and physical examinationsMust own and operate your own clinic or have a designated office space within the specified regionsWillingness to travel to designated sites within the specified radiusCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare standardsReliable internet and communication tools for administrative follow-upCompensation for this rewarding role includes an hourly rate of $600 for half-day shifts (up to 4 hours) and a daily rate of $1,200 for full-day shifts (5 hours or more). Bonuses are available for timely completion of initial training and first exam performance.
