Job Title

* Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers, and coworkers. * Monitor and evaluate EKG tracings before, during, and after exercise testing. * Supervise and coordinate exercise testing protocols, document changes in patient status, treatments, or prescribed medications and response to treatment. * Evaluates patients for stress testing, reviews patient charts and interprets physician orders. * Terminates tests as may be required by protocols or patient tolerance. * Documents changes in patient status, treatments or prescribed medications and response to treatment. * Coordinates and schedules stress techs in order to provide adequate staffing levels. * Initiates service calls as needed and schedules preventative maintenance when appropriate. * Evaluates supply levels and orders supplies as needed. * Uses computer system to process studies for charge and billing purposes to ensure physicians interpret EKGs, and to complete documentation in patient's electronic record. * Records blood pressures and oxygen saturations, observes patient's condition, and observes monitor for indications of positive tests or other complications. * Performs other work-related duties as assigned or requested. * Ability to read, write and communicate in English * Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science * Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia course or challenge exam * BLS required * EKG course or certification required * ACLS required * Must complete Radiation Safety training within 1 month of hire and renew annually
