Job Title

The APP, under the supervision of Physicians, is responsible for: * Performs physical examinations of patients, assessment and treatment of injuries or illnesses for pediatric patients. * Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc. * Independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditions * Monitors the patient's course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as needed * Collaborates with providers and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff * Combination of outpatient in person visits as well as virtual visits * Displays a caring and professional attitude at all time as well as maintaining personal and professional growth Schedule Details: * Primary Schedule: Tuesday (8-5pm), Thursday (8-5pm), Friday (8-4pm) potential for Saturday morning and additional coverage * Primary Location: Winter Garden (15502 Stoneybrook West Pkwy Suite 114, Winter Garden, FL 34787) * Opportunity to pick up additional hours when needed at Apopka, Winter Garden, College Park, Lake Mary, Orange City and Orlando Knowledge and Skills Required: * Strong medical decision-making and communication skills * Enthusiastic team player * Willingness to learn * Flexible, adaptable to change Education and Experience Required: * Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies * Minimum of 5 years pediatric experience Licensure, Certification, and Registration Required: * Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C license * ANCC, AANP, PNP-PC/AC, or NCCPA (or equivalent) certification * Current BLS required
