This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Dermatologist to provide high-quality, compassionate care to our nation's Veterans. Our Veterans deserve exceptional care, and we are committed to supporting physicians with a collaborative environment, manageable schedules, and the resources needed to focus on patient care * Provide comprehensive dermatologic evaluation and management of Veteran patients in an outpatient setting, including new consults and return visits * Diagnose skin, hair, and nail conditions, including skin cancers, inflammatory disorders (e.g., eczema, psoriasis, acne), infections, and systemic disease manifestations * Perform skin biopsies (excisional, punch, shave), cryotherapy, and minor surgical procedures routinely * Interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and histopathology results, and tailor treatment plans accordingly * Manage long-term skin conditions through prescribed therapies, phototherapy, and medication monitoring VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package. Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME) Telework: This position is eligible for ad-hoc telework.
