An immediate opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge to support an inpatient behavioral health facility in St. Charles, MO. This contract position is expected to last approximately four weeks or until a permanent hire is made, providing essential leadership and pharmacy management during this transition period. Responsibilities include overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring medication safety and compliance, managing automated medication dispensing systems, and collaborating closely with clinical staff to support patient care. This role requires hands-on experience with repackaging medications and familiarity with automated technology to maintain efficient workflows. Key Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Missouri Pharmacist license Experience as a Pharmacist in Charge within inpatient or behavioral health settings Proficiency with Omnicell automated dispensing systems is preferred Skilled in medication repackaging techniques using Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL systems Basic knowledge of loading drugs into automated machines and generating restock reports Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid meal break Location: St. Charles, Missouri This contract role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your pharmacy leadership expertise in a dynamic behavioral health environment.
