A healthcare imaging professional is needed for an ultrasound technologist role in Gastonia, NC. The role requires vascular ultrasound experience and involves floating between the main hospital and an outpatient imaging center as needed. Responsibilities Perform general and vascular ultrasound imaging utilizing Siemens Sequoia and P2000 equipment Manage a patient load averaging 250-300 across multiple departments, handling cases such as cancer, stroke, COVID-19, flu, RSV, and heart attacks Float between the main hospital and the outpatient Cleveland Advanced Imaging Center as required Adhere to department protocols and complete orientation including facility and unit-specific training Collaborate with clinical teams using EPIC EMR system to document findings Work night shifts (1900-0700) with weekend and holiday coverage, including working approximately 75% of holidays Maintain a professional appearance with black scrub attire and comply with parking and operational policies Qualifications Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience with vascular imaging proficiency American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Ability to multitask, learn quickly, and work efficiently in a family-oriented departmental culture Must have photo ID for facility compliance; NC state licensure not required Benefits & Perks Free onsite parking Opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary, supportive environment Exposure to diverse patient populations and advanced ultrasound technology This contract position is ideal for a dedicated ultrasound technologist looking to contribute expertise in a dynamic healthcare setting with flexible scheduling and meaningful patient impact.
