Seeking a skilled CT/Radiologic Technologist with dual modality expertise to support emergency imaging operations. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a busy freestanding Emergency Department dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients experiencing urgent medical conditions such as trauma, respiratory distress, and injuries. Role Details 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Weekend position with holiday work as scheduled Call requirements: 3 twelve-hour shifts per month covering two nearby sites Contract employment Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging using both digital radiography (DX) and computed tomography (CT) technologies Independently conduct scans with proficiency in Code Stroke protocols Support a team of 2-3 technologists during shifts with remote radiologist review Operate advanced imaging equipment including GE 16-slice CT and Siemens ultrasound machines Participate in required departmental orientation and adhere to established protocols and scrub code Qualifications and Experience Minimum 1 year of experience as a DX/CT technologist, ideally with emergency or trauma facility exposure Certifications: BLS and ARRT (R)(CT) mandatory Strong ability to work independently with excellent communication skills Comfortable with floating and call responsibilities at nearby Emergency Departments Additional Benefits and Perks Free employee parking Team-oriented department culture ensuring collaborative work environment Orientation provided to support smooth integration into the unit This contract assignment suits technologists seeking experience in a dynamic ED setting with opportunities for professional growth.
