A travel opportunity is available for a skilled Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray imaging, offering the chance to apply your expertise in a dynamic clinical setting. Key Responsibilities: Perform a variety of imaging procedures independently, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Obtain and assess complete clinical history, verifying patient identification prior to exams. Administer contrast media safely when required, adhering to established guidelines. Operate radiographic equipment competently while maintaining lowest radiation exposure possible. Review images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary. Serve as a clinical instructor and coordinator for imaging students, providing constructive feedback. Maintain equipment and ensure it meets operational and infection control standards. Participate in department education, quality control, and documentation processes. Respond appropriately to emergency situations and assist with multi-modality support as needed. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent certification. ARRT Radiography certification required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and staff. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficient in patient positioning, radiation safety, anatomy, and pathology related to imaging. Schedule: 12-hour day shifts. Flexibility to meet department needs.
