An established compounding pharmacy is seeking a qualified Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead regulatory compliance and quality operations at its Ohio site. Location: Athens, Ohio (Onsite) Schedule: Monday through Friday Key Responsibilities: Act as Pharmacist-in-Charge overseeing Ohio licensure and additional non-resident state licenses as required Ensure facility compliance with FDA, DEA, State Boards of Pharmacy, and Section 503B regulations Lead and prepare for Board of Pharmacy, FDA, and DEA inspections and regulatory meetings Maintain and update SOPs, training programs, regulatory reporting, recalls, and complaint investigations Oversee QA/QC processes including batch record review, deviations, investigations, environmental monitoring, and validation activities Manage Quality Management System (QMS) implementation and maintain change controls, product labeling, and annual product reviews Supervise vendor qualification, incoming material checks, and reserve sample programs Analyze and report quality metrics to site and corporate leadership Qualifications: Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in pharmacy or pharmaceutical operations Knowledgeable in cGMP, FDA and DEA regulations, sterile injectable manufacturing, and non-sterile compounding Proven experience leading regulatory inspections and audits Strong communication and presentation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Multi-state licensure and 10+ years in pharma, biotech, or medical device industries preferred Benefits: Competitive salary package Relocation assistance available Comprehensive health, dental, and flexible spending accounts 401(k) with company contributions Company-paid life and disability insurance Generous paid time off with accrual based on tenure Tuition reimbursement programs Opportunities for advancement and professional growth This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity ideally suited for an experienced pharmacist seeking to elevate their leadership career in a dynamic, regulated environment.
