Position purpose The Histotechnologist's main responsibility is to perform all functions in the histology lab to include embedding, microtomy, staining, and filing. This is a Full Time, Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. position Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks: * Must be proficient in the following areas: * Embedding * Microtomy * Routine Staining * Special Staining/immunohistochemistry * File slides, block and paperwork in alpha-numeric order * Equipment quality control * Perform related duties as assigned.
