A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available to provide coverage at a specialty retail pharmacy near Fort Wayne, IN. This role offers direct exposure to typical retail pharmacy duties with the support of a pharmacy technician, allowing you to focus on patient care and medication management. Schedule: Monday, 3/30: 8 AM - 5 PM Tuesday, 3/31: 8 AM - 5 PM Wednesday, 4/1: 8 AM - 5 PM Thursday, 4/2: 8 AM - 5 PM Friday, 4/3: 8 AM - 5 PM Responsibilities: Perform dispensing and counseling for retail pharmacy customers Manage prescription orders using New Leaf system Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and best practices Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff members to optimize workflow and patient service Qualifications: Active Indiana Pharmacist license in-hand Experience with retail pharmacy operations preferred Ability to adapt to new systems and workflows quickly Strong patient communication and organizational skills Additional details: Paid training is provided before the assignment starts on 3/30 Technicians will be available to assist you throughout the shifts Open to local pharmacists as well as traveling pharmacists willing to relocate temporarily Travel reimbursements include meal allowances and mileage/hotel coverage as applicable This assignment offers a great opportunity to demonstrate retail pharmacy expertise in a supportive environment with flexible coverage dates.
