This per diem opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist role at a retail pharmacy location in Austin, TX. Immediate coverage is needed for three upcoming shifts, with the potential for ongoing assignments. The pharmacy uses Pioneer Rx software and has technician support to assist the pharmacist. Schedule: Wednesday, 3/25/26, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Thursday, 3/26/26, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Friday, 3/27/26, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a retail pharmacy setting Provide counseling and guidance to customers on prescription and over-the-counter medications Utilize Pioneer Rx software to manage prescriptions and patient profiles Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations Qualifications: Valid Texas Pharmacist license Experience as a retail Staff Pharmacist preferred Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail Proficiency in pharmacy software, with Pioneer Rx experience a plus Excellent communication and customer service skills This per diem position offers flexibility and the chance to join a supportive pharmacy team.
