What You'll Do As a Community DSP, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals to reach their personal goals while enjoying independence and inclusion in their community. You will: * Follow each person's support plan to help them work toward their personal goals * Help with everyday tasks like personal care, meals, and daily routines when needed * Make sure the people we support are safe, healthy, and comfortable at all times * Drive and go along with individuals to appointments, activities, and outings in the community * Be a positive role model and speak up for the people you support when needed * Help with light cleaning and household tasks to keep the home running smoothly * Take part in team meetings, trainings, and agency events * Write brief notes about your shift so the next staff and supervisors know how things went No two days are the same and that's what makes this role so rewarding!
