American Traveler is hiring a Rad Tech for a Radiology Diagnostics position requiring 2+ years of experience, with strong diagnostic imaging and ED trauma skills, working evening shifts Monday through Thursday.Job Details• Radiology Diagnostics unit within a large 800-bed acute care hospital,• Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center serving as the region's primary referral center,• Facility also houses a Level III NICU, children's hospital with pediatric ER, and the busiest robotic surgery program in the Carolinas,• Procedures include all diagnostic imaging, portable, trauma, fluoroscopic, and surgical imaging,• Equipment includes GE rad rooms, GE and Shiatzu portables, OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arms,• EMR: Cerner Rad Net,• Evening shift: Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM-11:30 PM,• Weekend rotation required,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, with active experience within the last 6 months,• ARRT (R) certification required,• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start),• Proficiency in all areas of diagnostic radiology including portable and OR imaging,• ED trauma imaging experience required,• License required if applicable,• SSN and DOB required for consideration,• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri),Additional Information• Fluoroscopic procedure experience is preferred,• Self-motivated team players who can also work independently are the best fit for this unit,• Black scrubs required,• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - no local candidates will be considered,• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
