Responsible for design, implementing, integrating, testing and making operational the control and distribution systems for all AV/VTC systems supporting the customer. Extensive knowledge with demonstrated experience engineering conference rooms, Webcasting, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) and Streaming Video systems. Assist Project Management, Customers, and Key Stakeholders with cutting over AV/VTC systems. Assist system programmers with AV/VTC integration and testing to ensure the control system hardware and software (source code) meets the performance metrics. Provide project closeout to include as built drawings and a technical acceptance reports. Education Requirements * BA/BS or equivalent, with more than four years of experience in video and audio communications support Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Strong knowledge with demonstrated experience using VTC Codecs, Audio Mixers, Control Systems, AV automation, Wiring, Amplifiers, Microphones, Projection systems, Video Cameras, and other A/V peripheral equipment * Strong business communication skills with strong verbal communications to interface effectively * Strong customer service * Detail oriented and organized; able to understand AV/VTC systems and ensure accuracy of work * Reviews the work of others and is able to detect errors or needed modifications * Able to identify and resolve problems or inadequacies of systems operations * Cisco Telepresence experience preferred but not required Security Requirements * TS/SCI (must be eligible to obtain or maintain) #clearance EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
