Your coaching will help families strengthen relationships, achieve goals, and access community resources.? School Readiness & InclusionGuide families through educational choices and transitions like kindergarten enrollmentParticipate in IEP and IFSP meetings when needed? Family Engagement & Community PartnershipsBuild trusted, respectful partnerships with familiesSupport parents in developing positive, meaningful interactions with their childrenProvide coaching in child development, health, safety, nutrition, and mental wellnessConduct in‑person goal setting and family assessmentsConnect families to resources that support their goals and long‑term wellnessCollaborate with community partners, service providers, and Head Start staffHelp plan family events, recruitment efforts, and Open House activitiesSupport Family Success Plans and Attendance Success Plans? Health & Safety SupportAssist families in accessing continuous, high‑quality healthcare and insurance coverageHelp families obtain services related to nutrition, oral health, mental health, housing, and moreEnsure required 30/45/90‑day screenings and timelines are met? Documentation & ComplianceMonitor and document daily attendance, concerns, and follow‑upMaintain accurate, timely data entry and records per HSPPS guidelines? What You BringAssociate degree in social sciences, human services, or related fieldOR 2 years of social services experience may substitute for degreeExperience in family development, social work, human services, or psychology preferredExperience working with low‑income families preferredFDC credential (provided) must be completed within 18 months of hireStrong ability to problem‑solve and support families in crisisAbility to work in homes within high‑risk communitiesValid driver's license and reliable transportationAble to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, squatting, etc.)Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)?
