Job Description Overview Location: IU Health 575 Riley Hospital Drive Indianapolis, IN 46202 Schedule: Monday 730am - 400pm Tuesday 730am - 510pm Wednesday 730am - 510pm Thursday 730am -430p Friday 730am - 210pm No Weekend Performs a number of functions related to accounts receivable such as claims processing and payment collection. May assist patients with questions about and problems with their accounts. May contact third-party payers regarding claims, update account information and provide administrative tasks on accounts. Key Responsibilities: Dental Insurance management * Timely submission of dental claims * Dental claim validation for accuracy * Prior authorization for dental services * Treatment planning * Pre-Appointment collection of co-payments * Appointment confirmations * Related reports and documentation * Medical cross-coding for dental services to support patient need to file medical claims. Dental office experience preferred Requires high school diploma or equivalent. * Requires working knowledge of payer billing requirements and regulations. * At least one year of experience in hospital or physician billing strongly preferred.
