Job Title

Position Purpose: We are hiring a Part-Time Pharmacist/Retired Pharmacists to serve as coverage support for our primary pharmacist during time off. This flexible role is perfect for a licensed pharmacist seeking supplemental hours while contributing to a mission-driven, patient-centered health center. Responsibility, Skills, and Difficulty of Work: * Assists with recognizing the needs and concerns of people within their cultural framework, and maintains constructive relationships in dealing with them * Understands the Riggs CHC's relationship with the community and maintains positive image and relationships * Self-motivation * Interprets Riggs CHC's services and policies to patients and families as appropriate. * Works independently in the absence of supervision * Self-motivated and flexible to daily schedule and/or center needs * Deals with public and staff, both in person and over the telephone, in tactful and professional manner. Education & Qualifications: * Bachelor's or advanced degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution * Three (3) or more years of relatable pharmacy experience * Must be licensed as a registered pharmacist with an unrestricted license in the state of employment * At least one (1) year of related pharmacy management experience, preferred * Ability to work scheduled hours, including weekends and evenings if required * Clean criminal record - with no felonies * Current CPR certification preferred * Ability to read and transcribe pharmaceutical information * Strong assessment and multi-tasking skills required. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. * Satisfactory completion of medication course. * Bilingual especially in Spanish is preferred. * Pharmacy management software and computer competency required.
