American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract at a Level III Trauma facility, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.Job Details• Level III Trauma hospital with 286 staffed beds,• MRI department setting,• Schedule is 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM,• On-call rotation is required among staff members; call hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 5:30 AM, and weekends from Saturday at 5:30 AM through Monday at 5:30 AM,• Weekend shifts may be required when on call,• No floating required,• Charting system is Epic,• Philips MRI equipment experience required,• Free parking on-site,Job Requirements• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience,• Current BLS (AHA only), and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification,• Proficiency with Philips MRI equipment,• SC license required if applicable,• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration,• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position,Additional Information• Scrub colors are black pants and teal top,• Orientation modules are completed prior to the assignment start date,• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs,• Candidates who have previously worked as permanent staff or PRN at any facility within this health system must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler,• Local candidates (within 60 miles of the facility) are considered on a case-by-case basis; non-local candidates are prioritized,• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
