American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for an evening shift role at a high-volume Magnet-designated Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, with a minimum of 1 year of experience required.Job Details• Short-term acute care hospital setting, Magnet-designated, academic teaching facility, and Level 1 Trauma center with 632 staffed beds,• High-volume MRI department covering MSK, Neuro, and Body imaging,• Serves a broad patient population including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics,• Inpatient, outpatient, and ER imaging experience applicable to this role,• MRI procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CINE, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, MIP, MPR, spin echo, surface coils, T1 and T2 weighted imaging,• Contrast administration and IV starts are part of the scope of practice,• Uses PACS and Epic EMR; Epic experience preferred and training provided during orientation,• Evening shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM,• Every third weekend required, with compensating days off during the week,• No on-call or float requirements,• Free parking available with badge access to the parking garage,Job Requirements• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience,• Active Michigan state license required by start date; compact licenses are not accepted in MI - license required if applicable,• Current BLS certification required,• ARRT certification required (ARMRIT not accepted),• Level 1 Trauma center experience required,• Proof of high school level education required,• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,Additional Information• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates; no radius restriction applies,• Epic training is completed during orientation for those without prior experience,• Pre-start online modules are required and vary by specialty,• RTO must be submitted at the time of profile; a maximum of 5 days of RTO is permitted per assignment,• Former core staff members must wait 12 months before returning and should have HR verification prior to consideration,• Wine-colored scrubs required
