Job DescriptionPosition responsible for assisting physicians in the Cath lab as part of a team that performs both diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures, being proficient in all aspects of Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, and requiring little to no supervision.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Graduate of an academic program of health sciences or invasive cardiovascular technology required; If employee has been credentialed as an RCIS by the CCI since 2013 or earlier, formal education is not requiredLicenses/Certifications:• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support and one (1) of the following required:• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International or Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)/MRT or Registered Radiological Technologist in Cardiovascular-Interventional Technology (ARRT-CV) by the American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsThe role is 4 ten-hour shifts, 0700 - 1730, variable days. On-call requirement is 10-12 days in five weeks for 24-hour department coverage, requiring a 30min response time.Requirements• ARRT-CV or RCIS• MRT or RCIS• Certified Basic Life Support• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or invasive cardiovascular technology required
