This role supports a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital known for advanced care, including pediatric trauma, chest pain, and stroke management. Responsibilities include performing MRI scans on adult and pediatric patients from emergency departments, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient services. You will work with Siemens 1.5T MRI magnets and interface with EMR software (EPIC) to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging. The position requires confidence in clinical skills, excellent communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Collaboration with a diverse team including lead technologists, supervisors, and imaging managers ensures strong departmental support. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification; ARRT (MR) or ARMRI required BLS certification required; ACLS preferred but not mandatory State licensure is not required for this role Strong teamwork mindset and communication skills Comfortable working with adults and pediatric patients in varied clinical settings Schedule/Hours: Contract duration: 13 weeks, with consistent shifts as agreed upon Shifts available on 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts or weekends based on need No rotation between weekdays and weekends; stable schedule throughout contract Call duties shared fairly among team members; holiday coverage required unless pre-approved off 24/7 staffing environment necessitating flexibility within assigned shift Location Overview: Mooresville, NC, offers a welcoming community rich with charm and convenience.
