Lake Regional Health System is looking for a dependable, professional Medical Lab Tech to join our Laboratory Services team. Key Responsibilities: * Receives patient specimens, verifies proper collection, performs requested procedure(s), performs all necessary documentation accurately, prepares appropriate reagents as required. * Analyze appropriate controls, instrument checks, calibrations, and maintenance. * Perform STAT and urgent orders in an appropriate time frame. * Review results, proficiency testing, quality control, calibrations, and other appropriate information for certification of results. Qualifications/Requirements: * Associate degree - medical lab science, or MLT (ASCP) or equivalent. * An annual influenza vaccine required. Additional certifications may be required for this position and will be coordinated by Lake Regional as a part of your ongoing training and development.
