We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Dallas, TX where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.Minimum Requirements: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.Current Texas state respiratory therapist license in good standing.Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.Minimum one year of clinical experience as an RRT, with pediatric experience required (experience in Pediatric Emergency Department or similar pediatric acute care preferred).BLS certification required.Experience with invasive and noninvasive ventilation and respiratory equipment.Experience with Meditech or comparable EMR preferred.Ability and willingness to float to other pediatric areas as needed.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Unit: Pediatric Emergency Department, 15-bed area, single respiratory therapist coverage on shift.Shift: Days.Shift hours: 0700-1900.Floating requirement: Yes - pediatric spaces.On-call requirement: No.Location HighlightsDallas, TX offers a blend of urban attractions and nearby outdoor options.
