The staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, and 1 HUC on day shift, and 1 Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1 HUC on night shift. Patient ratios are 5:1 and 6:1 on day shift and up to 7:1 on night shift. Standard medical-surgical equipment is utilized on the unit. The electronic medical record (EMR) system used is Cerner. Experience in telemetry and neuroscience is preferred. Typical procedures performed on the unit include Foley insertion and IV start. The ideal candidate will be outgoing and self-motivated. Staff are expected to work every other weekend. A new staff reference book will be provided at the start of the contract. Floating to other medical-surgical floors may occur as necessary. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs or attire. This position is a contractor replacement.
