Overview Position: CT Technologist Location: Cincinnati North Schedule: Per Diem $2500.00 Sign On Bonus Questions? Talk to a recruiter today Performs diagnostic Radiographic/Fluoroscopic/CT exams on patients both in the department and with portable equipment. Floating between CIRH and IRH units as needed. Responsibilities * Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment. * Use of proper patient positioning and technical factors to consistently produce quality diagnostic studies. * Correctly operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of desired patient anatomy. * Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician. * Monitor the patient for any adverse drug events and report accordingly. * Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions. * Perform clerical duties, as needed, such as answering phones. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: * At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required). * At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school). * Must have ARRT or CMRT certification. * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. * Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.
