Oversee and coordinate activities in Operating Room, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Outpatient Surgery, GI Lab, Sterile Processing, Cath Lab, Surgery, Ambulatory Surgery Center, and Donor Network. Develop, implement, and oversee strategies to enhance patient care quality, safety, and efficiency. Lead nursing staff development initiatives, ensuring continued education, training, and competency in perioperative care. Collaborate with hospital leadership and department heads to align surgical services with hospital-wide objectives and regulatory compliance. Drive process improvement efforts to optimize resource utilization, budget management, and operational effectiveness. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, ensuring high staff engagement, retention, and professional growth. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards related to perioperative services. Candidate requirements Required: Academic degree in nursing. Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing or a related field. Required: Minimum 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse. Active and unrestricted CA Registered Nurse (RN) license - Required. Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (AHA certified) - Required.
