We are looking for exceptional candidates who will assist our district in becoming exemplar as it relates to seeking and implementing strategies for improving early childhood assessments, transitions from EI to EC, and individual education programs. for all students. This person will work collaboratively in professional learning communities to achieve goals with a common purpose focused on student learning.BRIEF DESCRIPTION / POSITION SUMMARY:Yorkville CUSD has an opening for a full time 1.0 FTE Assessment Team Facilitator. This position serves as the primary liaison and process manager for students transitioning from Early Intervention (EI) or entering through Preschool Screenings. The role ensures legal compliance through IEP management, facilitates multidisciplinary team collaboration, and streamlines the administrative transition for new families entering the district.Prior Early Childhood experience preferred Strong understanding of special education required Essential Performance ResponsibilitiesTeam leadership and articulationTransition and intake managementIEP Process and compliance Additional DutiesPerforms other related tasks as assigned by the program administrator and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.
