Job Title: Student Research Assistant, (Druzak), Su26 Reports to: Courtney Druzak Dr. Courtney A Druzak (Assistant Professor of English, HSS) is looking for a Student Research Assistant for Summer 2026. The position will include 10 hours of work per week, starting May 11 and lasting until August 7. This research assistant will aid in ongoing research projects, including but not limited to: * Edited collection revisions * Syllabus creation * New research project creation Applicants should have the following skills: * Using appropriate search terms to return results from a library database and from web searches * Reading sources and providing clearly written overviews / summaries * Synthesizing sources to explore how they relate to one another * The ability to work independently and remotely Expected dates of employment: May 11 - August 7, 2026 Expected number of hours per week: 10 * Once again, students are not permitted to work during any time when they are scheduled for a class. * Wage Range: $17.13 - $18.25 per hour, depending on number of terms worked at DigiPen Requirements to Apply: * Resume * Cover Letter * In no more than 200 words, please discuss your experience using library databases (here at DigiPen or elsewhere) to find, read, summarize, and synthesize research.
