Four travel pharmacist positions are available on the Central Coast of California, serving a hospital setting in a beautiful coastal region. Locations: Day shift: San Luis Obispo, CA (4-day, 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Night shift: San Luis Obispo, CA (7 days on, 7 days off, 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Position Type: Contract, with an immediate start preferred Assignment length: 13 weeks or longer Key Responsibilities: Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure safe dispensing Consult effectively with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize dosing and patient outcomes Utilize pharmacy information systems including Cerner and Omnicell Qualifications: Active California pharmacist license Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a clinical setting Flexibility to accommodate either day or night schedules; please specify availability when applying This contract opportunity is ideal for pharmacists seeking an engaging, clinical role with a reputable healthcare facility on California's picturesque Central Coast.
