Job Title: EHS Specialist Job Description The EHS Specialist will oversee Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs and compliance for assigned locations to ensure regulatory compliance and controls in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local EHS regulations. The role involves planning and coordinating health programs that require the application of engineering, mechanical, and chemical principles to analyze and control conditions contributing to occupational hazards and diseases. The specialist will recommend resolutions, monitor processes, conduct training activities, and coordinate with consultants and service providers as needed. Additionally, the EHS Specialist will assist the EHS Manager by providing expertise and oversight of safety and risk management functions. Responsibilities * Oversee and ensure EHS regulatory compliance for assigned locations. * Plan and coordinate health programs using engineering, mechanical, and chemical principles. * Analyze and control conditions contributing to occupational hazards and diseases. * Recommend resolutions and monitor EHS processes. * Conduct training activities related to safety and health. * Coordinate with consultants and service providers as required. * Assist the EHS Manager in providing expertise and oversight of safety and risk management functions. Essential Skills * Experience in EHS, health and safety, and safety training. * Ability to assist in creating and implementing safety programs. * 5+ years of EHS experience designing and implementing EHS programs in a manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or Environmental Health preferred. * OSHA training is a plus. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $74000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
