The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing procedures and insurance guidelines from claim submission to  payment collection,    Medical Biller/Collector must have experience in handling insurance denials and appeals.  Job is not remote.Responsibilities  Timely submission of claims to variety of insurance payers including PPO's, HMO's, Medicare, Medi-Cal, and CalOptima. Follow up unpaid claims and work toward resolution. Resolve billing discrepancies. Qualifications Must have 2+ years of experience in a hands on Medical Billing/Collection position. Strong organizational and communication skills. Be able to time manage and take direction. Strong computer skills, EMR Skills Experience with HMO, PPO, and state payors.   Experience with claim appeals and aging accounts.
