Position Description A graduate student in an institution within the Texas Tech University System employed in support of the research mission of the unit, its director or faculty, in laboratory, library, field, or computer work, or such other activities as may assist in the unit's research efforts. Requisition ID 44461BR Travel Required None Pay Grade Maximum 24,000 Major/Essential Functions * Research Support: Assist with literature reviews, data collection, and qualitative data analysis (e.g., interviews, focus groups) related to human trafficking survivor needs, services, and outcomes. * Data Management: Help manage and organize research data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with institutional ethical standards (e.g., IRB). * Report Writing & Communication: Contribute to the writing of research reports, grant progress reports, and other materials for funders and stakeholders. Assist in creating resources and toolkits for survivor service providers. * Community Outreach: Coordinate and participate in meetings, webinars, or workshops with community partners and service providers. Support survivor-centered outreach activities. * Training & Capacity Building: Help develop and deliver training sessions on trauma-informed care, survivor-centered practices, and human trafficking-related topics. Yes Pay Grade Minimum 20,758 Pay Basis Monthly Work Location Lubbock Preferred Qualifications * Prior experience working with survivors of trauma, particularly human trafficking survivors, in research, clinical, or advocacy capacity. * Familiarity with research software (e.g., NVivo, SPSS, Dedoose). * Knowledge of the legal and social service landscape surrounding human trafficking. * Experience in academic writing and report preparation. * Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods (e.g., data coding, interviews, surveys). * Understanding of human trafficking issues and trauma-informed care principles.
