The ideal candidate will be independently motivated to provide excellent service while effectively communicating with your team and supervisor. They will liaise with Direct Support Professionals, Caregivers, and Supports Coordination Unit to support individual client's goals.We provide BCBA fieldwork supervision hours!Summary:The Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) acts as the lead clinician and supervisor on the case of a member diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This position is responsible for the oversight of technicians and support staff and for tracking and modifying a member's goals and progress. Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify the needs and strengths of membersDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans (ITPs) based on assessment dataProvide training and support to educators, parents/caregivers, and other stakeholders on behavior management techniquesProvide supervision to the Behavior Health Technician-Applied Behavior Analysis (BHT-ABA) in the implementation of ITP interventions to build on their skillsetProvide oversight of cases to ensure members are receiving the most effective interventions to target their goalsMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention strategies, adjusting as neededCollaborate with other treatment team members to ensure consistency of care across settings and providersMaintain accurate documentation of assessments, ITPs, and progress notes/reportsStay updated on best practices and current research in ABA and related fieldsQualifications:Be licensed in PA as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, certified nurse practitioner or a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services and have one of the following:Pursuing BCBA strongly encouraged A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 12 credits in ABA from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of EducationA minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a professional with a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA approved by the Department or provided by a continuing education provider approved by the BACBAttributes:Experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges in educational or clinical settingsStrong understanding of behavior analysis principles and intervention strategiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with diverse populations and professionalsProficient in data collection and analysis related to behavior trackingPursuing BCBA strongly encouragedAll RBL BH Children's Services employees are required to have the following clearances and training:Child Abuse (no more than five years/60 months from the date of hire)FBI Fingerprint Check (no more than five years/60 months from the date of hire)PATCH (no more than five years/60 months from the date of hire)Mandated Reporter Training (no more than one year/365 days from of hire)First Aid/CPR certification (must be maintained during employment period)Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing and frequent bendingMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a timeBenefits:401K MatchingPaid Vacation DaysPaid Sick DaysPaid HolidaysTuition ReimbursementHealth InsuranceVision InsuranceDental InsuranceFlexible SchedulesAbility to advance within the companyEqual Employment OpportunityReaching Beyond Limits, Inc. and all its entities provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants and prohibit discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
