However, a salary may be negotiated above the minimum range depending on applicable years of experience and qualifications."Full-Time, 40 Hour Work Week, Paid Bi-weeklyGeneral DescriptionUnder the supervision of the Intake Program Supervisor, the roles involve conducting screenings and assessments to determine eligibility for intakes and admission to adult mental health services. Responsibilities include completing intake procedures and conducting diagnostic evaluations for authorization under the supervision of the Intake Program Supervisor and/or other available Licensed Practitioners of the Healing Arts (LPHA). Crisis assessments and interventions are carried out promptly when necessary. The position facilitates linkage to both internal and external providers based on individuals' needs, with a focus on discharging individuals to the least restrictive environment possible. Certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through DSHS could be obtained. This position can offer CBT to individuals meeting the state's level of care criteria, as well as facilitating groups, as necessary.Minimum QualificationsMinimum requirements: Master's degree obtained from an accredited college or university, with a major in counseling, psychology, social work or a related field connected to human behavior.Must hold a valid license as either a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). This licensure must be continuously maintained and remain in good standing throughout the duration of employment.Minimum of one year's experience working with individuals dealing with severe mental illness(es).Proficiency in social and rehabilitative work.A valid Texas Driver's License and a clean driving record. Preferred requirements: Bilingual proficiency in English and SpanishMinimum of one year's experience working with individuals dealing with severe mental illness(es).Certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and/or Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).Have knowledge of the principles and practices of clinical supervision, management, and of local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to the program area.
