Dental Hygiene Program Director Exempt This position is open until filled. Umpqua Community College seeks a qualified and experienced Dental Hygiene Program Director to provide leadership for the development, accreditation, launch, and ongoing administration of a new Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Dental Hygiene program.  This is a start-up leadership role responsible for ensuring the program is designed, implemented, and maintained in full compliance with Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) standards and all applicable state and institutional requirements. The Program Director serves as the academic, administrative, and accreditation lead for the Dental Hygiene program and provides instructional leadership, faculty supervision, curriculum oversight, clinical coordination, and continuous quality improvement once the program is operational.   REVIEW THE JOB DESCRIPTION HERE: WHY UCC? Required Qualifications * Licensed Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) eligible for licensure in Oregon * Bachelor's degree minimum; Master's degree required or in progress per CODA standards. * Minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience in dental hygiene education or clinical practice, with teaching experience preferred.  * Demonstrated knowledge of CODA accreditation standards and dental hygiene program administration. * Eligibility to teach in a community college setting. Preferred Qualifications * Prior experience as a Dental Hygiene Program Director, Associate Director, or Clinical Coordinator. * Experience leading program start-up, accreditation, or major program revision. * Experience working in a community college or associate degree program. * Demonstrated leadership in clinical education and outcomes assessment.
