TITLE: Noon Aide 26-27 SYJOB DESCRIPTION:Provide safety and assistance to children in lunchrooms and school grounds.QUALIFICATIONS:1. Education equivalent to a High School Diploma or GED preferred 2. Must be at least 18 years of age 3. Experience working with and/or supervising children 4. State of Arizona Identity Verified (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card 5. Ensuring safety of students in lunchrooms and school grounds. ? Counsel and/or intervene with students to ensure acceptable behavior ? Report observations and/or incidents relating to students to appropriate school personnel ? Respond to emergency situations to address safety concerns ? Escorting students to and from classrooms. ? Assisting students in lunchroom and/or school grounds. ? Perform routine cleaning tasks (clean up spills, floor, etc.) ? Perform other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:? Knowledge of District policies and regulations ? Skill in interacting with students, staff and parents ? Ability to use equipment such as walkie talkie, brooms, mops or related items. ? Ability to enforce school and/or District rules, regulations, policies and procedures ?
